The St. Louis Baseball & Fastpitch Academy "We Train, You Gain"
The St. Louis Baseball and Fastpitch Academy is among the largest training facilities in the metro area. Currently, 22 professional instructors call SLBFA their home, more than any other academy in the bi-state area. From October to April, our instructors train more than 1,100 athletes each week. In the 2010 off-season, SLBFA provided batting cages to 126 youth, high school, and college teams. SLBFA has provided instruction for baseball and fastpitch softball for the past 12 years. Since our inception in 1998, SLBFA has increased it's operating space from 10,000 sqft to 22,000 sqft in order to handle the growth of our institution.
With over 150 years of combined experience, our instructors offer specialized training in pitching, hitting, fielding, catching, speed-training, and overall fitness. As a direct result of the superior training, our students have proven to be some of the most educated and well rounded players in the bi-state area. Year after year, SLBFA's students earn All-Conference, All-Metro, and All-State honors, as displayed on the "Academy News" page.
SLBFA students continue to achieve on-and-off the field. Over the years, our students have received millions of dollars in academic and athletic scholarships. Each year, more and more students are added to the SLBFA Wall of Fame, which displays photos of the athletes signing their letters of intent to receive their college scholarship. The St. Louis Baseball and Fastpitch Academy thrives on the success of each student, and continues to grow through their accomplishments.

Monica Abbott, Team USA pitcher, instructed an all day pitching clinic on February , 2013. Softball pitchers ranging in age from 11 to 18 attended the clinic. Monica covered the proper way to warm up. The girls experienced a 3 hour session, and afterward were given the opportunity to have Monica sign t-shirts, posters, balls, and other various objects. This once-in-a-life-time opportunity was full of information extremely important for any softball pitcher. SLBFA throws a huge thank you out to Monica for all of her hard work!
